Meet Our Team

Marie Colombo joined the Westfield Animal Hospital team in July 2025 as our Hospital Manager. Marie brings with her nearly a decade of experience in the animal care field. She has held a wide range of roles, including kennel attendant, adoption counsellor, veterinary assistant, veterinary technician, dermatology liaison, and practice supervisor.

Marie is deeply committed to supporting the growth of our team and plays a vital role in fostering a culture of compassionate, high-quality care for both pets and their people. Her passion for animals is evident in every aspect of her work. Around here, she’s affectionately known as our resident “crazy cat lady.”

Outside the hospital, Marie enjoys fostering kittens, travelling, practicing yoga and caring for her growing collection of houseplants. She shares her home with a very special cat named “Surprize” and is actively involved in trap-neuter-return (TNR) initiatives and kitten rescue in her community.

Jenn is a Customer Service Representative at Westfield Animal Hospital.

Brianna is a Receptionist at Westfield Animal Hospital.

Brianna joined the Westfield Animal Hospital team in August 2024, bringing her warmth, compassion, and dedication to our client services. As a receptionist, she plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for both clients and their pets. From scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records to assisting with payments and ensuring smooth client interactions, Brianna strives to make every visit a positive experience.

Her passion for animal care began in 2017 when she volunteered at animal shelters in Barbados, and she continues to bring that same dedication to her work today. She believes in the power of kindness and enjoys building relationships with clients, knowing that even the smallest gestures—like lending a hand to a technician or doctor—can make a big impact.

Working at Westfield Animal Hospital has taught Brianna patience, empathy, and responsibility, and she values the opportunity to grow and learn each day. She takes pride in providing exceptional service and finds joy in turning someone’s day around by ensuring their pet receives the best care possible.

Outside of work, Brianna loves spending time with her family, baking, singing, and dancing. She also shares her home with her beloved dog, Chloe.

Jennifer is a Customer Service Representative at Westfield Animal Hospital.

Carrie is a Veterinary Technician at Westfield Animal Hospital. Carrie joined the Westfield Animal Hospital’s staff in December 2019. She has been working in the animal health related field for 17 years. Carrie’s primary responsibilities are to help doctors and technicians during treatments, take boarders and hospital inpatients for walks and assist in returning patients to their owners after receiving care.

Carrie’s favorite part about working at Westfield is when she gets to return a pet to an owner. She says, their happiness is contagious!

At home Carrie takes care of 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 ferret, 2 mini-lop rabbits, 4 guinea pigs and 1 leopard gecko. When not working at the hospital Carrie loves to read and run, run, and run! She has run 2 marathons and hopes to do another. She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and all her animals.

Emily is a Veterinary Technician at Westfield Animal Hospital. Emily has been a veterinary technician at Westfield Animal Hospital since August 2016. As a veterinary technician, her responsibilities include assisting vets and senior technicians in the treatment area.

Emily says her favorite part of the job is getting to interact and learn about all aspects of the animal-care field, as well as seeing the hospital’s medical boarding patients become healthy.

At home, Emily has three black and white tuxedo cats named Roscoe, Arlo and Bali as well as a rescue pup named Monkey.
